About Us
Who We Are
It started in 2013, with a name change to Fortitude Leadership Academy in 2017. We are a 501(c)3, nonprofit agency providing mentoring programs and life skills training for youth and young adults. Our goal is to offer a positive support system to avoid the pitfalls that can derail their lives. Fortitude fosters a commitment to youth and young adults that will promote pro- social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reassert a sense of hope in the future.
Our programs are direct responses to the growing number of youth subject to bullying and poor academic performance. The focus is slightly different at each level, but the goal remains the same; empower the young person to make positive changes in his/her life.
